Re: Testing A New Format In The SOCIAL Forum

Re: Testing A New Format In The SOCIAL Forum

Hmmmm, at first I didn't like it. Reminded me of other forums. But after giving it a good look, I can see it has it's advantages. As Jan said, much less scrolling. Thanks for this option, Mrs. John....

We can't 'order' the replies to a topic... the only way it goes is from original/first post down the page to the most recent on the bottom. Sorry.

Re: Testing A New Format In The SOCIAL Forum

It's kind of mind boggling when you first view the forum, isn't it? It'll probably get better as we get used to it.

With use, I'm finding that I do not like the lengthy scrolling required to find out if there are any new posts in the topics down on the lists. If Donna posts new puppy pics, I might miss them!

I noticed the same thing Janice. I am not quite sure if the new format meets the need. Takes some getting used to. I saw it yesterday before Mrs. J announced it and I thought something was wrong with...

Re: Testing A New Format In The SOCIAL Forum

One advantage to the new format is finding the threads. Let's test this for awhile and see if we like it or not.

Re: Testing A New Format In The SOCIAL Forum

It scares me a little! Don't like the test format so much. Clicking the page numbers and just scrolling to newest message works well when I remember to start there. ;)
